About Kadhai Kutty

Kadhai Kutty (கதை குட்டி — “little story”) is built in Chennai by a dad who couldn’t find a bedtime story in his own family’s language with his daughter in it. It’s a bedtime ritual for Indian families — at home and around the world.

Why we made it

Every child deserves to be the hero of a story told in the language their family speaks at home — with their Amma, Appa, Paati and Thatha in it by name. We wanted that to happen every single night, without a parent having to write a word.

What Kadhai Kutty does

On the nights you choose, it creates a new watercolour-style storybook, written and painted by our AI story studio, starring your child and your real family, in your mother tongue — Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada or English. The characters are inspired by the people you love, never a photo or a deep-fake.
